Performance Content Strategist / Creator

Client is a Nigerian eCommerce company selling physical products nationwide through a pay-on-delivery model, powered by Meta and TikTok advertising, organic trust content, and a performance-driven creative pipeline.

About the Role

This is a hybrid strategy-and-execution role. You'll own CapsGain's creative pipeline end to end: researching what customers respond to, developing persuasive content angles, producing the actual ad assets, and using performance data to make each batch better than the last.

You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the media buying team. Your creatives directly feed paid campaigns this role carries real performance accountability, and it's rewarded for it.

What You'll Do

1. Research competitor ads (Facebook Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center) and maintain a tagged swipe file of winning creatives
2. Mine customer reviews, comments, and WhatsApp chats to extract real buyer language and build customer avatars
3. Write hooks, direct-response video scripts, captions, voiceovers, and CTAs
4. Shoot product demos, lifestyle videos, and UGC-style content
5. Edit videos in CapCut or Premiere; design static ads, carousels, and thumbnails in Canva
6. Brief and manage external UGC creators, from shot lists to quality review
7. Deliver organized weekly creative packs to the media buyer with proper file naming and tracker updates
8. Review weekly performance data, diagnose winners and losers, and iterate before creatives fatigue

What You Won't Do

You won't run ad campaigns, manage budgets, close sales, or get pulled into unrelated admin work. This role is protected creative production time.

Requirements

1. Portfolio showing product videos, ad creatives, UGC-style content, or direct-response scripts (required — applications without an accessible portfolio link won't progress)
2. Proficiency in CapCut or Premiere, and Canva
3. Working understanding of CTR, CPO/CPR, hooks, and creative fatigue
4. Own smartphone/camera capable of clean product footage; laptop and steady internet
5. Organized: Google Drive folders, file naming conventions, tracker discipline
6. Full-time availability; hybrid/office-based
7. Coachable - you can take direct feedback and re-edit fast

Compensation & Incentives

1. Base: ₦180,000 - ₦280,000/month depending on demonstrated skill
2. Winning Creative Bonus when a creative sustains agreed CTR and CPO thresholds
3. Weekly Delivery Bonus for complete, on-time creative packs
4. UGC Quality Bonus and Team Target Bonus
