Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Area Sales Manager (Medical) to lead our sales operations. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, established relationships with key stakeholders, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the region.


Responsibilities:

▪ Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue targets

▪ Manage, coach, and supervise a team of Medical Sales Representatives across assigned territories

▪ Drive market penetration and business growth

▪ Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies, and distributors

▪ Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to guide business decisions

▪ Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

▪ Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis

▪ Coordinate product launches, promotions, and awareness campaigns in the region


Requirements:

▪ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Science, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)

▪ Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 -3 years in a managerial role

▪ Strong experience working

▪ Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a high-performing sales team

▪ Excellent knowledge of the pharmaceutical market and distribution channels

▪ Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

▪ Ability to analyze sales data and make informed business decisions
