Head, Talent Management

United Bank for Africa (UBA Group) is seeking a Head of Talent Management to develop and execute enterprise talent strategy across its pan-African and global footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise talent management strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead succession planning and critical role mapping across all regions (EMEA, WECA, APAC)
• Design and implement leadership development and high-potential programs
• Drive workforce planning, talent forecasting, and talent analytics to inform decisions
• Build and embed performance management frameworks and culture transformation initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and build future-ready skills
• Oversee career development frameworks, mobility, and internal talent pipelines
• Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies across regions
• Lead change management and organisational transformation initiatives

Requirements

• 12–18 years' HR experience with a strong focus on Talent Management
• Proven track record in multinational, matrix environments
• Experience managing cross-regional teams and stakeholders
• Ideal candidate: Background from a Big 4 firm or reputable international brand
• Current experience managing multi-regional talent operations (EMEA, WECA, APAC)
