Finance and Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
• Manage the company’s accounting records, general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, Pension, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and submit statutory returns and coordinate external audit activities.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reports to support strategic planning.
• Oversee loan portfolio accounting, credit risk monitoring, regulatory reporting, and compliance with applicable financial regulations.
• Manage client and vendor financial relationships, ensuring timely collections, payments, reconciliations, and resolution of financial issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Preferably female for gender balance.
