Accountant (2 Positions)

Responsibilities

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support client decision-making.

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.

· Assist with tax computations, statutory filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.

· Participate in financial due diligence, audit support, and advisory engagements.

· Prepare management reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

· Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, auditors, and other external stakeholders.

· Support the implementation and improvement of financial controls and governance processes.

· Travel to client sites within Nigeria and internationally as required.

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline with minimum Second Class Upper (2:1).

· 2-6 years of relevant accounting, audit, finance, or consulting experience.

· ICAN qualified or actively pursuing ICAN certification.

· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

· Knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax regulations is desirable.

· Experience using accounting software and ERP systems is desirable.

· Willingness and ability to travel frequently within and outside Nigeria.
