Social Media Manager

About the Role:

We're hiring a Social Media Manager to own and grow our online presence across Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. You'll be the voice of our brand crafting content that resonates with our audience, building community, and driving real engagement. This is not a post-and-ghost role. We need someone who treats social media as a serious growth channel.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, create and schedule daily content across Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram
2. Write copy that speaks directly to our target audience no generic, recycled content
3. Grow our follower base and engagement organically
4. Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in real time
5. Track performance metrics and report weekly on what's working and what isn't
6. Collaborate with the founder to align content with product launches, campaigns, and key milestones
7. Identify trends and turn them into timely, relevant content quickly
8. Run and manage paid social campaigns when needed
9. Build and maintain a content calendar that keeps the team ahead, not behind

Requirements:

1. 1+ years managing social media for a brand, product, or agency
2. Exceptional writing skills you can be witty, professional, or punchy depending on the context
3. Deep understanding of Nigerian culture and how people communicate online
4. Proven ability to grow an account from small to significant
5. Strong eye for design you can brief a designer or use Canva confidently
6. Data-driven mindset you track numbers and make decisions based on them
7. Comfortable working in a fast-moving early-stage startup environment
8. A portfolio of past work is mandatory
