Web Design and SEO Specialist (Remote)
About the Role
TK WebHosts is hiring a Web Design and SEO Specialist to manage and continuously optimise a key client's digital presence. This role blends hands-on website design and development with core SEO execution and performance-driven digital marketing support.
The role operates within an environment that uses automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency, reporting accuracy, and delivery speed. These systems are already in place. Prior experience with AI or automation tools is not required, and structured training is provided.
This is a remote, execution-focused role with clear expectations around output quality, reliability, and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy website pages, features, and landing pages with a strong focus on UI, UX, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Build WordPress pages from themes using page builders such as Elementor or Divi — not just editing content on existing pages.
- Maintain and update client websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress to ensure performance, security, and uptime.
- Execute ongoing SEO initiatives including keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO fixes, and monthly performance reviews.
- Support and optimise digital campaigns across platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), and LinkedIn Ads.
- Operate within existing automation and AI-assisted workflows for scheduling, reporting, content support, and performance monitoring.
- Work with automation tools to ensure data flows correctly between websites, analytics platforms, ad platforms, and internal systems.
- Monitor website, SEO, and campaign performance metrics; prepare structured reports with clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Communicate progress, risks, and results through daily scrums and scheduled updates.
- Maintain a stable, professional remote work environment with consistent availability during agreed working hours.
Hosting & Infrastructure
As a web hosting company, this role involves working with hosting environments and domain management:
- Familiarity with domain management, DNS configuration, and web hosting environments.
- Understanding of how domains connect to hosting providers and the implications of DNS changes.
- Ability to work with cPanel, file managers, and hosting control panels.
Tools and Platforms
- CMS and website builders including WordPress, Elementor, and Divi.
- SEO and analytics platforms for audits, keyword tracking, and performance analysis.
- Paid media platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- CRM and internal project management systems.
The role operates within an environment that uses automation and AI-assisted workflows. Full onboarding and training are provided — prior experience with automation tools is a plus but not required.
What We Offer
- Direct mentorship and ongoing feedback from senior leadership.
- Access to internal training resources, documentation, and process playbooks.
- Exposure to automation and AI-enabled workflows without requiring prior specialisation.
- Opportunities for long-term growth, increased responsibility, and process ownership.
- Expense reimbursements for essential business tools and software.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are detail-oriented, execution-focused, and comfortable working across web design and SEO in a structured, remote environment. You understand how design, performance, and visibility interact.
You bring:
- Hands-on experience building and optimising websites — not just editing content.
- Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with web hosting, domain management, and DNS concepts.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working with structured systems and technical documentation.
You are not expected to be an automation engineer. However, you are comfortable learning how systems communicate, diagnosing basic workflow issues, and escalating complex problems when required.
