Senior Program Officer – Agriculture Policy, Advocacy & Strategic Communications

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in policy advocacy, strategic communications, public affairs, or related fields
• Experience within agriculture, food systems, or economic development is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Nigeria’s political and policy landscape
• Proven experience working with advocacy networks and managing grants
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support policy advocacy and strategic communications initiatives
• Engage government agencies, partners, and key stakeholders
• Strengthen advocacy networks and collaborative partnerships
• Support grant management and program implementation activities
• Monitor policy developments and provide strategic recommendations
• Contribute to agricultural and economic development objectives
