Key Responsibilities

• Drive the life insurance business strategy to maximize market share.
• Accelerate retail expansion, corporate partnerships, and bancassurance channels.
• Ensure compliance with NAICOM regulations, corporate governance codes, and applicable laws.
• Optimize investment strategies for life funds and manage the department’s profit and loss.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in insurance, with at least 5–8 years at a senior executive level.
• Strong technical expertise and extensive industry experience.
• First Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• MBA or MSc is an added advantage.
• Must be a Fellow or Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN).
• Must satisfy NAICOM “Fit and Proper” requirements for board-level appointments.
• Exceptional knowledge of risk management, digital insurance ecosystems, and the Nigerian insurance market.
