Social Policy Officer

Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will support the collection and analysis of data regarding child poverty and vulnerability

• He or she will analyze macroeconomic contexts and their impact on social development

• They will support the development and strengthening of integrated social protection policies

• You will undertake budget analysis and advocacy to increase child-focused investments

• He or she will strengthen the capacity of local governments for planning and budgeting

• They will foster partnerships with government, donors, NGOs, and UN agencies

• You will manage technical support and ensure risk analysis is embedded in programme management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field

• 3 years of experience in social policy, economics, or a related field

• Experience in emergency response or working in a developing country is an asset

• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills

• Fluency in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
