Travel Accountant

About Role

The Travel Accountant will manage financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with statutory and organizational financial requirements within the travel and hospitality sector.

Requirements

• HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 4–5 years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or service industry
• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (or ongoing pursuit) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for travel, visa, tour, and related transactions
• Process customer payments, supplier settlements, refunds, and reimbursements
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment schedules, and financial reports
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment platforms, and company ledgers
