Project Accountant

About the Role

Own project cost control, budgeting, and revenue recognition for a Port Harcourt-based operation, with strong ERP discipline and IFRS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost control, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor project profitability, WIP, accruals, and revenue recognition.
• Maintain accurate ERP-based project accounting records.
• Partner with Project Managers to provide financial insights.
• Prepare MIS reports, audit schedules, and performance dashboards.
• Strengthen financial discipline across projects.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.

Requirements

• 4–10 years' experience in Finance/Accounting.
• 3–5 years' hands-on Project Accounting experience (mandatory).
• ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA certification.
• Strong ERP systems experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 15 and project costing.
• Oil & Gas, EPC, or Field Services experience is an advantage.

Salary

₦1,000,000 – ₦1,500,000 net monthly.
