History and Global Perspectives Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and differentiated lessons in History and Global Perspectives.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
• Encourage inquiry-based learning, debate, and critical thinking.
• Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Support extracurricular activities such as debates, Model United Nations, history clubs, exhibitions, and research projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or TRCN certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in History, International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, or a related field.
• Experience teaching History and/or Global Perspectives, preferably within a British curriculum setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Cambridge/British curriculum frameworks.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
• Passion for inspiring learners and developing global citizens.
