Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured, and differentiated lessons in History and Global Perspectives.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning, debate, and critical thinking.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Integrate technology to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support extracurricular activities such as debates, Model United Nations, history clubs, exhibitions, and research projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student achievement.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and/or TRCN certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in History, International Relations, Political Science, Global Studies, or a related field.
- Experience teaching History and/or Global Perspectives, preferably within a British curriculum setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Cambridge/British curriculum frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for inspiring learners and developing global citizens.
