Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our product development team and help us build scalable, high-performance applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our core platform services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Node.js and Python
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces with React.js and TypeScript
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to define feature specifications
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
• Optimize application performance and ensure system reliability
• Participate in architectural decisions and system design discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of GraphQL
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Experience in fintech or e-commerce domains
