Company Description: Nasugo is seeking a reliable, punctual, and highly motivated Dispatch Rider to manage our daily logistics and delivery operations. Operating from our hub in Ajao Estate, the ideal candidate will safely navigate Lagos routes, ensure the timely delivery of packages, and maintain Nasugo's high standards of professional customer service. Responsibilities: Delivery Operations: Transport and securely deliver packages, documents, and goods from Ajao Estate to various client locations across Lagos. Navigation & Tech Use: Use smartphones and GPS navigation apps to locate efficient routes and avoid Lagos traffic. App Management: Update delivery status in real-time using Nasugo’s internal mobile application. Customer Service: Act as the face of Nasugo by interacting with clients politely and handling delivery disputes professionally. Vehicle Care: Perform daily routine inspections and maintain the cleanliness and basic mechanics of the assigned motorcycle. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of daily deliveries, client signatures, and operational expenses. Qualifications Valid Lagos State Rider’s Card. Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of proven experience as a professional dispatch or delivery rider in Lagos. Proficient in smartphone usage, Google Maps navigation, and digital messaging apps. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in basic English. Exceptional knowledge of Ajao Estate, mainland shortcuts, and general Lagos traffic regulations. Safe motorcycle riding skills, valid motorcycle riding license, and good knowledge of traffic rules and safety practices. Basic record-keeping and time management skills, including the ability to track deliveries, manage documentation, and meet deadlines. Ability to handle packages carefully, perform basic vehicle checks, and report maintenance needs promptly. Reliability, honesty, and a strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to work independently and follow company policies. Prior experience as a dispatch rider, courier, or in logistics/delivery operations in Lagos is an advantage.
